Διαγραφή σημαίνει ότι αφαιρείτε μόνο τη διαδρομή (path) προς τα δεδομένα αλλά τα δεδομένα μένουν άθικτα και ανακτήσιμα μέχρι να επεγγραφούν.

Σιγουρευτείτε ότι όλα τα παλιά σας δεδομένα έχουν εξαλειφθεί χρησιμοποιώντας το YouWipe. Εξαλείφουμε τα δεδομένα σας και σας βεβαιώνουμε ότι μπορείτε να μεταπουλήσετε ή να δωρίσετε το υλικό σας, χωρίς την πιθανότητα απώλειας δεδομένων και επιβολής προστίμου.
Μετά την εξάλειψη των δεδομένων του αποθηκευτικού σας μέσου η YouWipe θα δημιουργήσει μια αναφορά την οποία θα μπορείτε να χρησιμοποιήσετε για την διαδρομή ελέγχου, την απόδειξη της διαγραφής.
Η αναφορά θα παρουσιάζει μια επισκόπηση των πληροφοριών του αποθηκευτικού μέσου.
Φυσικά ο τεμαχισμός θα καταστήσει μη ανακτήσιμα τα δεδομένα, αλλά επίσης θα καταστήσει και το αποθηκευτικό μέσο μη επαναχρησιμοποιήσιμο. Αν διαγράψετε τα δεδομένα με την YouWipe θα μπορείτε να μετα πουλήσετε το υλικό.
Ο τεμαχισμός του δίσκου θα κοστίσει αρκετά χρήματα ανά δίσκο. Οι άδειες της YouWipe είναι αρκετά φθηνότερες και δεν χρειάζεται να αφαιρέσετε πρώτα το δίσκο.
